I don't know, but I am sure that can be allowed. If modding PCs is allowed, I am not sure why XBOXes are any different. I see them just as a mini-PC.

Talking about modding systems are alright. But only as far as that. Any information on where/how/why/what/etc on any backups not of your own are prohibited.

fyi, modding xbox's is legal, the main that is illegal about it is the software that is distributed that has been made using the XDK kit from Microsoft. Thats why popular xbox modding sites like xbox-scene don't host the files/link to them and are available on IRC etc. But alot of 'homebrew' software is allowed

They can never legally forbid it.
Because everybody is entitled to a backup copy of their original sound file. If this is in mp3 format....so be it.
And it's the same with roms 'n stuff =)

I don't have a lot of time to play games, so sometimes I try a rom to see if I like it before I buy it. And that is, like I said, totally legal. Think of it as Try&Buy. And I mostly like platforms myself.

ROM's and EMU's should't exist. They violate the copyright law and they are breaking the business of the game/platform-developers. (PPffffhaaahahahahaaahaa thats a good one, who cares... it's their own fault they just should make them cheaper ...)
