for a first site, you have some pretty strong design ideas. Very nice for a first, I'd stick with this idea.

That font has to go!!!
Try changing to verdana or get a pixel font!
I like the boxes when they sort of expand. looks cool.

i like it. and i really like the logo thing at the top (with the boxes)
i'm not sure about pink with white. maybe a brighter but biege(sp?) pink?
i know this is personal preference, but i hate it when i see a coloured box with black outlines *shivers*. in my opinion, either have no outline at all, or change the coolour to fit in with the rest of the colour scheme.
remember, everything must fit. if one thing is out of "character" (or whatever) then it'll stick out like a...great..big..ummm..sti..cky-out..thing...?
ok,enough bullsh*t talk :D
great for your first site. definatley has potential to be a grwat site. but just allways remember the current style and scheme, and allways follow it.
keep up the good work.

or at least use a nice common font like "Verdana" :) If you want custom fonts, eayh try pixel fonts, but only use them with static textfields at 8 px

I dunno if this has been said already or not, so I'll just say it again.
It looks cool - I like the little animation you have on there. It's simple, and I like simple sites. This looks ok, but I have to say there's no defined navigational structure, and that REALLY takes away from the quality of the site.
First rule to web design - "Dont Make Me Think"
If your visitors have to think about what's going on and where they go to get around, you're going to lose a lot of your audience.
Get a set navigational structure for your pages, and it won't be that bad.
Not just a navigational structure, but a physical page structure too I think. It looks like just random pages really - and that is rarely good.
I hope that helps you out now, and in the future

I have checked his website out and I don't really get what you've been trying to let us know here. Maybe that is because he update his site already now but I thought there was a good navigational structure...
Unless you mean that he has to put some home buttons on the different pages of the website because that is true I think. Now I always have to use my back button.
Explain plz :P
Greetz, ScHAmPi.
BTW: Gratz with the site it looks quite good.
