Does n e 1 know how i can make lightning? Like in the dreamwave intro at David gary studios (http://www.davidgarystudios.com/)

you have to play with alpha of your text. low low low low low high low low low (that's not actionscript). I think that the man's also using a mask. You'll find a great tutorial on how to do that on this site.

you could either do it i photoshop and import some jpgs into flash or do it in flash. I've some pretty kewl lighting done in flash using gradients and things like that.
