Can i lose indent in loaded text?

I managed to load an external text file into a text variable box. Thanks joe (The Eyezberg).

The problem i'm having now is that when the text appears in the text variable box the very first word of the first line is indented slightly - I know i could format it using HTML but is there an easier solution to this?

chances are that's a space in your text file. "variable = " vs "variable=".

No there are no spaces yet it still persists in being indented.
Any other suggestion?

there is an indent setting in the paragraph panel, perhaps there's something set there?
