creating a bar for paragraphs

hi guys..
I need to separate paragraphs by having a bar between them. What should I use? I would like to have dotted bars.

well its been a very long time, but I know theres a command for a horizontal bar. Im not sure what the tag is..... I believe its HR but check this site out http://www.minwar.com/learn/HTML/HR.asp

thanks..but I think the HR is deprecated.. I I just found out about styles that lets you have a border to a table on whichever side of the table you want..which i want..thanks for the insight
