hello everybody, if anybody!

I have this really dumb question: does the amount of stuff in your lybrary count when u make an swf? i mean, even if there are items that are not in use on your main timeline? for instance if there are bmp in the lybrary that u don't use, is this counted anyway?

sorry but i didn't find an answer to this one in my book.

Only the things that get used in the SWF show up sizewise. Library items that don't get used don't get counted. The Fla is merely the editable part of the movie, for your use. The SWF gets generated only with items in the main timeline. And there is no such thing as a stupid question when your trying to learn. Eh!

Why put bmp in your library if you're not going to use them ?
Anyway, I don't know the answer to your question, but as a precaution, I've always deleted the maximum from my libraries. Just in case.
