yeh i did think the first time it fired up wot a ripper but its cool there are differences but the logo does need changing and i think the transitions are a bit of a rip but feck it i like it. and its better than what i can do so rock on dude

come on, fellas.

the effects are nice, nothing groundbreaking, and the layout is a bit similar, but there are tons of layouts that look similar to that. and that thing where the slanted line under Industry isn't truely orginal. also, do something diff. for you navigation. Your layout provides tons of options for cool navigation, so put some thought into it.

There are some good things to the site. I like the building pic, you should build your layout more around photos and graphics, and remember to be user-friendly, but do something a little different from the norm. and some more(and different)colors wouldn't hurt. Personally, i dont think that the purple you've used flows with the blue, even though there is some of it in the images.

so overall, it's apparent you've got some abilites in flash, but you need some inspiration and design techniques to really take advantage of those skills. :)

its so easy to figure out 2A effects, its not hard to make them...its the fact the came up with the idea and on how to do it. Just like in Prophecy, when teh logo flys out does a bit of a spin thing, has a sort of swoosh effect on the logo like its moving really fast and then breaks into parts and fills teh screen, that is very well done and clever. But its do able by you and me :)

As i always say, its not how it was done, its the idea that makes it brilliant :) that is why 2A are the best :)

i actually think prophecy is *ugly*. The 3rd version is SO MUCH better than the 4th one..cleaner, smoother, good color selection..and no useless crap - just what a perfect design studio needs. ;) :D

What age group is this site geared towards? I work with a bunch of 30 and 40 somethings and everyone kind of went "Ouch! My eyes!" every time I clicked a button. The opener too when the site is first launched really hurts.

Just something to consider.

maybe i'm missing something...but his logo looks nothing like 2advanced except for the fact that it's enclosed in a circle??? i'm guessing he's changed it since the orignal comments.

also, since i don't have 2advanced's old site sitting right in front of me, it's hard for me to tell if he ripped them or not...but from what i remember of their old site, this is very different.

ACTUAL COMMENT ON SITE: there is about 20px on the right hand side of my screen that are this solid blue color. You need to make a background 1px in width in photoshop that has the same gradient you use in the flash. Then center the flash movie and make that 1px gradient the background of the page.

at least that is what i think you should do :)
