I saw an amazing game at Newgrounsd earlier, and I was amazed. How could swift 3d graphics be used in such ways as this (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=120798)?
I understand how gotoAndPlay could be used, but it appears that the enemies here have some kind of intelligence. I have no idea how this could be done (other than just playing them through some activity that LOOKS like AI and then playing the death when you shoot them). I am shocked. I really am. How was this done? Anyone know or have a good guess?

if it wasnt so long to load and if it didnt run that slow i'd say this would be good...

i dunno tho, maybe he rendered this with a flash engine (3d app integrated) its bugging me =)

I'm pretty sure it's swift. He (it wasn't she was it?) must have just used some cool gotoAndPlay and done a hell of a lot of different action rendering in swift. That WOULD explain the filesize (I didn't notice, I'm a cable man myself).

EDIT:

Yes indeedy; that is swift 3D. But if you stop attacking the enemies (and live through it) you notice that the enemies run along, moving and attacking. They just don't have AI based on their POSITIONS, is all.

And now for a smiley.:bandit: pixel art is what drew me to kirupa!
