My cousin is searching for a simple JavaScript tree menu... or menu bar... something like that, as long as it's simple enough. Now, I searched Google, but most of them are:

1) for sell
2) too complicated
3) crappy

Does anyone know where I could find him a good example? It has to be 100% JavaScript and for use on a HTML page. PHP is also welcome.

Thanks in advance!! :)

Umm... What do you mean by tree... Lemme whip up an example and to see if this is what you mean by tree ;)

Well, erm... a bit like your Windows Explorer thingy... with all the folders. It has to be more simplistic than that of course, but that's the main idea.

That's what I figured.. I got it 75% done... Got the JavaScripting done already... If you wnat it dynamic.. YOu'll have to use PHP input.. I can show you that.. But it'll cost you... ;)

Theres a free system called "Joust" which uses Javascript to construct a tree like menuing system. Search joust on goole if this fails I get you some details on Friday

Hey thanks a lot!
I don't think he needs it dynamic... just tree-like I guess.

I will run a search, thanks for the tip. I found a lot of those generators, but half of them aren't working. Others are way too complicated.

Thanks a lot! You're my new hero. ;)

EDIT: forgive my stupid question, but why did you make it a PHP page? ... and it's a HTM page now, once I downloaded it...

Ohh.. I'm so use to saving as a .php page that it just becomes natural.. it could have been just as easy putting .html.. But... *lmao*...

And I'll probably use this as a PHP experiment for dynamic input :D
