tables and inmates, just some advice....grime things up with the textures, maybe some uv maps, also your lights are misplaced. But you are on your way to a cool scene gj.

you know ddd I was thinking tables.... thanx dude, wasn't sure about that...
what do you think maybe a row of them...... I think I will steer away from figures tho', that may tone down what could be a photo-real image....
... there are no lights though, just a spot so we can see, and some ambiant level, I was thinking about doing a radiousity render when all is said and done.... I haven't done a photo-real image in a while... I think this may be a good scene to try it with....
thanx dude..

try adding a bit of chaos in it, the one problem 3d artist often have is that their pics are too 'perfect'; it's hard to texture dirt and model disorder ;)

if you have body paint it would be awesome for your grime. Right now your textures are too perfect. If you thing about it a prison has flourescent lighting. You can do some wonders with a couple of distance lights with a lil volumetrics since prisons are dusty.
You know what I just noticed is that staircase is out of place. Much to fancy for a prison they usually have the straight wrap around stairs.

if you use c4d try to look for the plugin called dirtyNuts which automatically makes dirt (reaaaally effective believe me, creates dirt only in 'cramped' places such as folds & everything... look it up)

Thanks MD... I use lightwave.... but that is cool the way c4d has a plug in for dirt....
I guess it was my fault in not mentioning that I didn't surface anything yet...
all the surfaces are at defualt levels with exception of the colored surfaces...
dirt is easy tho'... just procedural texture layers in whatever object I want to give dirt to...... :p:
