Hey guys...

I figured this was the best place to post this. There really isnt another place on the board so here goes.

I am selling a Direct TV sat system. It has everything, the dish, the reciever, the HU Card, Remote, 50 feet of good quality Cable and it's a dual dish so you can have 2 recievers hooked up at once.

I payed 500 canadain for the entire thing less than a year ago but am willing to let it go for $350 - if there are any shipping changes we can work something out.

The reason I am selling it is my neighbours tree has gotten to big and directly blocks my signal. The jerk wont cut it either so I am S.O.L. in this situation. I figure instead of keeping it and letting it go to waste I may as well sell it at a loss and get some cash for it.

Any questions just ask on here or PM me.

Again, thanks guys and sorry for the spam - I just wanted to let you all know.

That's a lot of work dude...

and we dont exactly own our house, we rent so putting a huge poll in the ground might make the land lord man.

wow - what kind of word is that! "land lord" that's a pretty empowering title!

I would buy it bro, but its a canadian dish. It probably only picks up ice fishing competitions, cows grazing, and eskimo p0rn.

:)

I have bradband anyhow :)

the landlord can fill in a hole real easily...

at least ask...

it's not that much work, especially to have satellite, rather than digicrap... a Saturday, a large friend, and a half case of eskimo joy juice should do it...

I'll take it off your hands for free, if you throw in a free surround sound system and 3 months of service.

That's what Direct TV is offering here in the states for first time subscribers.

hahaha

Ok - Fester, it's not Canadain buddy - it's actually American Satallite - it's Direct TV, we dont have that here in Canada. You program your own card so it doesnt cost you anything monthly. You catch my drift? ;)

And rev - it would have to be a very large poll - not to mention trying to point it in the right direction up and down. That would be a pain . But I thank you for the ideas none the less.

I will take you up on the Eskimo Joy Juice though - always a good choice!

Hey Tobydog - if you live in Canada you cant even buy it up here from Direct TV - plus, if you sign up for that deal, how much is it going to cost you every month once the 2 free months are up.... with this system it wont cost you a dime.

the problem i see with your sale is that directv is offering a
3-room system for FREE, with free insallation. not sure anyone's
gonna bite on this for your price.

not tomention, i believe the tranfer of the access card to a new
person is an ugly process.

sorry to burst any bubbles mate :-\
