***This message has been updated. People who doesn't want to load everything at once, please read my note below***

If you're into animes or RPG games, please check my site out and tell me what you think. It is a long load, which I know many people dislike, but if you have the time, please review it and critique it anyway. Mouse navigation is very minimal, because it uses keyboard for most stuff. Approach the website as if you're about to play an RPG game such as Final Fantasy. It comes complete with an opening, a gameplay middle, and a 5 minute animated ending for those of you who enjoyed the site to stay long enough to go through each section and gather all the clues. I hope you enjoy.

Turn your speakers on.
People who wants to see what the site is like, without having to wait for all the sections to preload, you now have a choice to load each section on the fly: www.skycastlestudios.com

Really...??? Hmm, strange. The server's definitely up. Try hitting www.skycastlestudios.com/testbeta/ It's not as updated, but it has everything to be able to enjoy the site. The first thing that the site does is detect what resolution you're on, so it might be a script problem.

Let me know if anyone else is having this problem. Could be bad :(

luck, the /testbeta/ works. :)

I have seen that "[ENTER]" button and browser icons somewhere else but I am not an investigator. lol

The site looks great, good color scheme, a little close to 2advancedstudios.com but that's ok we all get close but not exact. :p:

I love the font on the main page, I beleive it is Impact if I haven't gone blind but I am not totally sure.

All around good site nice job. :)

Ah, it's a shame you're not into that type of games. Since you don't want to play the whole game, you may be interested in just viewing the ending animation. There's not an extremely easy way to do that right now, but, just refresh the site and select "no" when it asks you if it's your first time visiting the site. Simply beat the bad guy guarding the door in the gallery (I made it extremely easy on purpose), and then use the special attack on the final boss, and you can view the final animation. It shouldn't take more than a minute to get to it. I'm working on creating a link just for the final animation, since I'm getting emails asking me to see more of what people are seeing in the intro.

I'm not sure what you're asking me. What does TB mean? Sorry if that's a dumb question :)

what did you use for the animation is all....ToonBoom is animation software I use from time to time....I would assume you dont use it. I knew someone was going to mention it was the same color as 2a....Good job tho.

Ah, I just used Flash to create it. I really really want to learn Toonboom, but I had to create this site as fast as I can (even though it took more than 6 months) because I quit my job to dedicate myself for this, so I didn't have time to learn Toonboom.

The fight scene took about 4 weeks to create, and the rest took about another 4 weeks. Fight sequences were done frame-by-frame with no shortcuts, while some of the other scenes were created with different methods.

I'm uploading the final animation on its own at the moment. Check www.skycastlestudios.com/finalanimation.html if you're just curious about the animation end. Everyone else shouldn't be hitting this link, as you'll find it boring if you haven't visited the site and know the storyline, although the fight scene might be cool anyway. There's no preloader, since it's not really an official link, it's just for the people who are only interested in the animation part.

I have just updated this website to please all the people who are annoyed at having to download everything at once. Please go to www.skycastlestudios.com and tell me what you think. Now all of you have no excuse to not check this site out :) If there are any bugs, please let me know.

Your end animation is really good :)
I played the game for a bit, but games like that ultimately bore me... what I did see of it was well done!

what is your aim with this project? Do you want to show others what you can do and hopefully get work doing similar projects for money? Just curious.

Keep it up :thumb:
