I like the color scheme.

The page could use a bit more animation, I am not sure what I just get a feeling of it being dead and not as animated as it could be but maybe that is just me.

I like the photo on the main page, nice.

i think the neon green is a little intense....
i dont like how whenever you click a link the right side of the content box resizes. it immeadiately switches back to the first page's dimensions and then stretches to the same size every time. also, the stretching isnt very smooth, it kinda jumps toward the end. i like the concept of the box resizing, but not the same way every time.

i dunno, looks like the arjengosmandotnt is off center. really buggin me. maybe it isnt.

its not bad though

I agree with what gmh said, concerning the resizing box in particular: it looks really weird.

I thinkits a bit bare at the moment needs more content and maybe a very feint background that you would only notice on the 3 - 4 th visit maybe

Ok, I'll see what I can do :)

About the resizing box: it's just that I haven't figured out the AS properly yet. What I want to to do is when you click a button ->fade out content -> rescale box to 0 -> loadMovie -> rescale box to 100 -> fade in content.

However, because the buttons themselves also call the functions that rescale and fade, it messes things up at the moment. :(

the fonts are a little small though

Ok, I got it working a bit more like I intended to (the fading and resizing stuff).

However, when it resizes to _xscale = 0, the box jumps a little to the left. So I'm not quite happy with that.

What do you think? Should I get rid of the resizing altogether? Maybe just only a fading ount and in on the content?

Or try some other transition? Suggestions are welcome :)

wow, thats certainly an improvement. a little fix like that adds a whole lot to the site. however, the transition still isnt flawless, as u siad. i noticed that it swithces between being rounded or beveled and square. kinda noticeable.

i like the idea of the resizing box, though maybe not to the same size everytime. i wouldnt scrap it. given that im by no means an actionscript expert, i cant really help you, but since you only have 4 or 5 pages it may not be that tedious to do everything by hand, with tweens and no coding.

Thanks!

I'm still working on the coding. Almost everything is in fact already coded (the building of the menu, the menupointer etc), so I will try to solve it without tweens. It's actually more fun for me
:nerd:

Anyways, I'm now thinking of instead of resizing the _xscale of the box, to resize the _yscale and centering the registration point so it will resize into the horizontal line (being sortof the 'horizon').

I'm also trying some different, less intense colors for the lines.

So while I'm coding.... please hold :beam:

I say about section well I think you should make one readable font...and bigger I didnt even got ur name...Its a litlle plain right now, maybe a creative graphic here and there would make me remeber ur site more...keep that font only on nav....looks nice,

like the tranistions...maybe a bit faster :P

peace

Ok, transitions is a tad faster now. Also the image returns in other sections as a faint backgroundimage.

The lines are still quite intense: the other olive-like colors I tried didn't really turn out well I thought...

Hmmm, I guess I will have to consider another font for the content? However I do actually kind of like it myself, but if it;s unreadable to some of you then I need to change it I think.

Do you maybe have some suggestions for fonts to use (and please note that I don't have any money to buy fonts, so they'll need to be free :))

Thanks for all the replies. It's really helping me to improve things.

u now I design home pages forever, but all the time some of my cooworkers come by and say where is the home button, I always forget to put it on. They even made me a sticker and stick it on my screen that say HOME BUTTON :P so yea I think you need a home button on that page...limon is not so bad, common man use
some of the photography of urs for that site :P

about a font...I have to see that first one smaller to tell you!

peace

Ok, I tried another font. I think it's more legible now.
I also added a faint image at the bottom of the menu-area.

Like it?

You're welcome :) Any comments on the site besides the font??

I added 2 items to the 'photoshop experiments'. I'm still wondering about some kind of animation for the itemlist to be populated and a rollover effect. I think it looks a bit too static at the moment.

What do you think?
