custom mouse cursor

hello,
i made a movie that follows the mouse.
but when the mouse i over another button, this button doesn't get any events.
i guess that's why the mouse is over the "mouse follow"-movie.
someone knows how to handle this?

Hello Frank,
That shouldn't be happening. All actions on buttons will still work regardless of where the mouse follow layer is. If the mouse trailer is below the button, the animation goes below the button but the mouse pointer will still be on top.

I created an example that might help you out: www.kirupa.com/temp/follow_example.fla (http://www.kirupa.com/temp/follow_example.fla) You can click on the red square eventhough the mouse pointer has an image following it. You can click on the button, and have a new page open.
