I am interested in building a nav system like www.frontmedia.co.uk (http://www.frontmedia.co.uk) . I am a newbie at Flash. I was wondering if someone could break down how it is actually built.
Is it a movie clip that has an action script for the elasticity attached to it? Are the buttons within the movie clip controlling the movement? Both?
Sorry - I am not even sure where to start on this one...
Thanks in advance....

Yeah - I've looked at that - I am just confused on how to apply it so that it will create that effect on mouse release and to stop in a specific spot....

comon man dig into AS, it's the only way to learn; and then youll be amazed how easy it is =)
Basically the elasticity is a function applied to each menu movie clip; probably using the formulas.
Now I don't know anything about elasticity but Im willing to look at it with you...

elasticity:

start with the first one, and try and add the elasticity to the menu, if you have any problems just ask here.
