I installed it, pretty interesting features here. With the Winamp Pro 5 features, you will be able to rip directly from a CD to an MP3 (ACC or Lame mp3 capabilities).

Looking at the winamp.com site, you'll not find one peep about Winamp 5 at all. Even in the developer section. It does exist though.

But I agree with you on preference, I am and will always be using Winamp 2(.91)

so far it's cool... so far it's actuall version 2... with the look of 3.

All you hardcore version 2 lovers (like myself), at least try the new 5'er... just once...

I'll keep trying version 5 until I find a reason not to...
