Hi All,
I attached a file of an image I love, but the problem is I need the background to be #660000 but it isn't. :(
Does anyone know how to create that grid matrix effect in Photoshop 6?
Thanks,

i tried to color overlay the color too, the lines faded out a out like yours did.
Your signature has those lines doesn't it?

you are going to get a slight color fade because of te alias of the line and the layer blend mode. The closer the lines are together the more the color will appear to fade.
Why dont you not use a layer blend...Just place the lines on the upper layer and drop the opacity to a good point. that will not alter your gray

Well could I just use the line tool, define one brick as a pattern, that would work wouldn't it? (to make my own)

are you trying to do the grid effect in eilsoe's footer or something else? i dont' really understand what you're asking... if it is that grid effect, do a kirupa search, it's been talked about many times!
