I'm wanna make a third player shooter.Whats the action script when a enemy gets near you ,you will start to lose lives?

Hey Silencer,
I know how to do it in Flash 5, but I'm not sure how to go about trying to make it work in Flash 4. The scripting Flash 5 uses is more advanced and makes it easier to write effects such as yours. Sorry!

Yeah I agree... in 4.0 that would be a hell of a complicated task.

ah dammit,I guess I"m going to stick with first player shooters .
