......... from the website, it looks like they are looking for flash designers to join their team.... seems they are hiring.... but they don't have a budget....:esmirk:
My guess is they definately used flash to Author it...
could have used illustrator for some of the artwork... maybe even some P.S. for textures... I couldn't say for sure what they used, but you could probably ask them... they have a forum... join it. I'm sure they will answer your questions...

Someone on the ninjai forum replie the backgrounds are hand draw, but maybe you´re right they use P.S or ilustrator

they are definately using photoshop. But their are other programs that you can do that stuff in....Like paint shop pro. fireworks....and a bunch of others. But I would recommend Photoshop for it.

you are right, I just got photoshop and with the filter options I found the effects I was looking for, and I thought fireworks was good...

fireworks is better suited for vector stuff although mx 04 has some raster effects now. But it does not come close to ps7

The backgrounds are hand drawn, scanned and brought into photoshop for color and touch ups.

I would have even guessed there was a 3D prog used somewhere in the opening banner.... looks very dimentional... (good stuff)
Are you planning on doing something like this...?

You only need the basics of actionscript to create stuff like Ninjai. It's mostly tweens and frame by frame animation.

yes I know but still, ninjai is very elaborate and the animations are amazing (I saw all the chapters and they´re good), but I´m starting in flash, there´s no rush.
By the way, someone can give links with good animations, not games, thanks!!

I said I´m a beginner, but I have like 2 months with flash, maybe that´s not the word, between novice and intermediate it´s better. I´m talking about full animations like ninjai, not a tutorial.
BTW, if I write something bad it´s because I´m not from any country that talks english, see my location

There are no tutorials for full animations, it's something you learn from experimenting.

If you're a true animator then you should know about frame by frame animation and applying it to flash isn't hard.

Man! I´m not asking for a tutorial! I´m talking about a site like ninjai.com, sites with animations just to watch, I learn a lot when I watch animations, and I know how to apply frame by frame animation, I´m not saying is difficult, I only mean they require more job, that´s all! and if someone have a good site, just tell me, thanks again

someone give him the url to that xaiou xaiou site, the one with the stick figured fighting. I cannot think of what the url is. That should giv you a good idea for some animation.....they actually use another program for their animations . Then export it to flash. Bt you still can pull it off in flash.
