I know that Maya is an excellent program for design and animation for video and was wondering if it's capable of rendering for web design images (i.e. viewable in a browser through html and/or flash). Are there any good tutorials out there to start me off as well?

Will these images be a large file size?

Thanks guys.

Well no one uses anything straight out of any 3D program. Most people will render an image and then use an image editing program like photoshop to touch up the image or optimize it for web or for flash.

if your aiming to render your 3d into flash , maya 5 can render your animation as a .swf file. "vector rendering" same technology as Swift3d v3.

What specifically do you want the tutorial to cover?
