is there any feature exculsive to fp 7 that u needed? if not, export it in six so u dont chase away have ur audience....

in fact u barely took advantage of flash at all.
i like the colors, but i dont like how the bottom thing keeps tweening in.
it seems confusing- too many buttons in too many places.

maybe add some transitions, export in 6, and condense some of the buttons

and please get rid of the blue link at the top. that really hurts it.
i like the layout and colors, maybe consider some of what i said...

first of all, thanks for the replys, (i need them)

i was thinking the same thing about the all of the buttons. i need to find a way to reduce some of them but keep the information on each of the price lists because they are each in a separate category.

(gmh526 -- thanks for letting me know about the fp 7 -- i had recently installed the new version, i didnt know that it would export my swfs in 7 .. i will fix that.)

what screen resoluition did you guys view it at? and how did it look - width wise -- too wide - you think?

are u using mx 2k4? u must be if u exported in 7, right?

and im at 1280 x 1024. the width was fine in my opnion. maybe center the swf vertically for people on high resolutions.

gmh - actually i have just MX -- i havent done the upgrade (just for the stand alone player). in my publish settings i have it as flash only for the html tempate choice. but when i change the publish settings for 'detect for flash 6' i get some funky error

"the html template for this document contains tag which requires additional formats to be selected and published. publish will not proceed without creating this file."

and i have no idea as to what i need to edit

i too use 1280 x 1084 (and man does it look huge when i switch to 1024 x 768 ----iiiiicccckkk)

but i have taken in what you said and i have been doing a revamp all day today. i will post soon so you can see, i would like to know what you think.

chat later

Pay your $20 and get a real provider so you can get rid of that URL at the top....nice site.

No need to use flash though - there no real interactivity and as gmh526 said it it will chase the non-flash audience (ok it's something like 0,000001% but aah..)...

Nyway it's hard do discern buttons from text, maybe add a few onmouseovers or make them more visible, otherwise people will miss a few things...

Try adding a bit more images; ie make the agenda image on the left change if you can - it would bring a bit more interest...

slick site though =)

hehe -- yeah, i am going to get rid of the url at the top (that was one reason i made the background so dark). pay out money. but it is at the top of my agenda.

okay -- i have done an update. i think you are right about the buttons from the text -- but being as it is a smaller space i wanted to keep it uncluttered. what do you think about changing the text color to jet black for the buttons and leaving the text charchol or maybe deep red? (byt the way -- how did the text come out to you guys, was it blurry at all?)

as for adding more flash -- i am having a brain fart for ideas. when i started this -- i wasnt going to use flash for the whole thing, but i just love working with it and it is helping me learn. i am adding as i go.

thanks everyone
