hi, i'm about to make a template on photoshop. i'm haveing a problem knowing how big i should put the document size. Does anyone know a good px X px size for my template.

yes....make sure you are in 72 dpi resolution for one. Then a good size is 760x600. even 740x600

why you ask....glad you asked

So you will have no sideways (horizontal) scrolling for the millions of dinosaurs that still use 800x600 resolution. ANd with soem careful planning you can have your layout resize to accomodate higher res. Without losing the common denominator 800x600.

actually, 740 would be a LOT better than 760, because 800X600 maximized it 750 px i believe
if you have dreamweaver, you can check at the bottom right hand corner of a new document, it gives you all of the sizes

actually, you can go as wide as 775px for 800x600...but i believe 700-760 looks better.
