what is loading?

Recently, when I go to my site www.heysherman.com and I am viewing it in IE, I notice that little blue bar at the bottom of the browser as if something is loading, however there shouldnt be anything loading for that long. Anyone have any idea? maybe bad code?

Its the pictures I think. When I went to your site is had to download a bunch of pictures. I think that is what you are seeing.
