I found this rather recently, and it simply blew me away.

Of course, it's psychedelic, but WebGL is awesome!

Have a look:

P.S. This information is also shown on the splash page of the site, but I'm going to add it here too, so you know in advance: it's intended to be viewed using Google Chrome, otherwise it might be buggy.

All it needs is some enemy flamingos that you can shoot down...

Wow, chrome only?
Yeah. I'm not sure if other browsers support WebGL yet.

According to Wikipedia, Chrome, Firefox and Safari support it, Opera's next version will support it and IE has not announced plans to support it. And pretty well no mobile browser supports it.

But still pretty awesome reminds me of Nights on N 64

I have a hard time being enthused by things on the web that wouldn't be considered impressive if they weren't on the web. Sure, you can say "wow, this thing totally has artistic merit and it's able to be shared with so many people quickly thanks to the web", but those sorts of statements don't really hold a lot of weight with me!

I think this was one of the things they demoed at Google I/O... or if not, something really similar. (Yes, I did see that the original post date was in May.)
