I have an interesting problem.
I had to format one of my machines due to a nice collection of bugs that destroyed everything. Not a big deal.
As I was re-installing XP Professional it asked me for my CD Key....No problem.
The problem was I searched and searched and managed to loose the **** thing. I have another machine on my house that was insalled off of the same disk with the same CD Key.
My question is. Is there any way to obtain the entered CD Key you used to insall from within the windows enviorment?
If there is I can just get it from my laptop.
Thanks in advance.

I think if the computer was bought from a company they have the WinXP cd key on a sticker on the side of your computer. If not. Go into Control Panel and try System

properly very illegal but if you down a key-gen you could make it work.
but i would not but if you paid the money for it and can't use it i don't think it is as bad as downloading it becuase you have paid for it, so..... :sigh:
just an option

Search google for Windows XP CD Key. It is not illegal to use a different CD key. If you have a licensed copy then it is legal. It is not just legal if you use some key they put on the book. Think of it this way, you buy a car from someone and lose the key. Is the car no longer your car, or can you have a locksmith make you a new key?
