a made this site a previously and have just changed some stuff ive blanked the two inactive areas and added a portfolio section (partially will be adding some photoshop stuff to later and more flash experiments)

Heres my question...... im not sure about the layout of the
Portfolio-offline sections.
Looks a bit to cramped to me i think, i may have the whole text area expend when made active and fade some more of the hexagons out when its expanded.
However that will require alot of work :trout:
so can anyone tell me if
A) its needed (to expand the text/content area)
B) theres a better solution that maybe im missing ?

I think you have too many hexagons that is why it seems cramped. Your layout confused me at first. It was too much clickable stuff up front. BUt I soon got it. I like the concept. Yes maybe fade some hex's out or lose some all together. The hexagon thing is really kinda played out but that is JMO. I like your site tho...

Its definatley the hexagons which are too big but if you make them smaller you will ruin the whole site layout. My advice would be to make your document dimensions a bit longer that way you would keep its original look and have some more room for the portfolio section.

yes i agree with both of you, the hexagons take up to much space compared to the content, however changing their size is not an option, so i may just have to do what MrG suggested and extend the height of my movie :)
