We where setting up some work stations out of some old PC parts and ran out of cases. You have to boot it with a screw driver

I would worry about static shock or dirt and stuff but it is still cool i once saw a dude who made a computer into a old nes system it was cool.

Well we finaly tracked down an old case for the work station. I kind of wanted to see how long it would go before seomthing bad happend. :(

We did run it for a whole day and even did the windows install with no incedent. I'm not a big hardware guy so to see a PC operate like that made me laugh.

I just retired one that I ran one for years as my main computer without a case, just the aluminum frame. I had to vacuum out the dust bunnies once a week, but it stayed cool until the apt. hit 105 this summer...

still worked just fine, just real slow...
