wow that looks awsome man!!
the textures look a bit stretched though
and it might look better if you added a bit of motion blur on the planes!
great work!! :)

Nice work EG. :thumb:

One of the first things i modeled was a space ship using only the poly extrude face tool in maya and then smoothing faces. i think everyone has to at least do one at one time or another.

:: you started using maya yet? or is this cinema still?

Thought so :) little advice though , one or two planes are fine, but employers hate to see a portfolio full of them, everyone creates them to the point where they are almost like the equivalent to a lens flare in photoshop.

Nice work though. :thumb:

So how you finding Maya? easier than you though?

Soulty, I plan to model other vehicles such as some kind of tank next. So far I like Maya, took me awhile to figure what does what, but after that it was smooth sailing. There are still a lot of bells and whistles I need to try out though.

Lost, thanks for the comment on DA, I'll check it later. =)

Stargate is a pretty cool series. Some seriously nice concepts in that show.

Nice work Egeek, I hadn't seen these pics until now!

Thanks ironikart. =)

Rev, I've seen a couple episodes of SG1, but I'm not a fan of it. =)

I like Star Trek more simply because of 7 of 9. :P
