I got the little wireless infared microsoft one that I shelled out 40 bucks for that's battery dies every 4 days. But on the plus side it stopped working all together, so I would highly recommend it.

I use the Logitech Optical Mouse. 2 buttons, a scroll wheel, optical goodness, and it's a very pretty blue color with silver buttons and a dark grey scroll wheel.

This mouse has been trustworthy for me since I got it. I've experienced no difficulties (knock on wood), I've had it for almost 2 years now. On top of being a reliable mouse that is nice looking, it was quite cheap ($20 if I remember correctly). I highly recommend it.

Well actually I got mine for free, the school payed for it. A not so long story, but I don't feel like getting into it (let's just say it was something I qualified for). It was completely 100% legit though :)

Optical Microsoft IntelliMouse(r) Explorer 3.0A

Cost me about 16 thousand dollars. I took it from one of the computer labs around campus. Figure I pay enough in tuition, they won't miss a mouse from one of the laptops ... which have both the joystick and touch pad to begin with, so it's not like you couldn't use the thing.
