Is it possible to design a whole interface/menu in photoshop in one new image and then have adobe export the whole thing, but split up the pieces so u can put them back in a html editor or something.

Thx

its done using slices. Photoshop the image then slice it up and export it from ImageReady - that will let you control the slice export and HTML created. read you PS help for more info

Remember to replace whitespace (Or any solid colour image) with cell colour. This will reduce the number of images and reduce page size.

Tables are used for laying out the sliced up photoshop image. If you have areas of solid color, you would want those areas to, instead of being another image, to be empty table cells colored with a cell background color. This is usually best if the color is black or white, but otherwise you might consider make it an image so you can be assured of color matching (unless the the design doesnt require it there). Its up to you.
