Feather Radius for Selection? PS7

What is a good feather radius for when i make a selection out of an outline i made with the Pen Tool in PS7? Thanks :)

It is for a curved Line. With a solid color.

Probably 1 or 2 depending on how thick your outline stroke is. Any higher and it would probably take off too much.
