making an intro, then playing a loop in the bg

I'm just getting into flash, and so far I can make a movie that looks good when it's played, but I'm not sure how to make just a few effects loop continueously after the intro is done.

And help on this would be great, because I would love to fill my site with flash,

you would make those effects seperate movieclips, and justhave the


gotoAndPlay(1);


the idea behind it is that if these effects are created on the main timeline you can't, otehr wise your whole movie will play over. by making them seperate mc's you can achieve this
