Hey guys. I've been poking around here for some time now and trying hard to learn flash so I can get more into that aspect of Web Design. Based on what I could figure out by messing around in the program, and mostly what I've learned from various tutorials and threads on here, I've created my first version of the site I'm trying to make in all flash. I'm already working on version 2.0 because I dont particularly like my text transistions from each page, and my external swf preloaders are within each external swf therefore theres that annoying pause when you click the buttons. But I have not started advertising it just yet so its all good to wait on it til I have 2.0 up. Let me know your other thoughts and ideas, and although I dont need to say it, please be honest, if even brutally, I'd like to know what areas I'm really weak in, and what areas I'm getting pretty good at. Also, I'm learning Photoshop 7 now and starting to get decent at that, so expect my next version to be better looking visually. Thanks in advance for any responses I get!

PS. dont mind the splash page, its just a stupid setup I am using at the moment so I can get my page to load in its own browser without resize options. I will definately be changing it =P

Nice. Its very peaceful. but:
1) I need to turn of the %&$^ing music. You need a control for that.
2)For the love of god, change the font. I really hate this over used font. try here for some good ones: www.fontsnthings.com www.abstractfonts.com
aside from that, all is well.

adding start/stop buttons for the music is the first thing on my to do list once i get v2.0's layout setup. Dont worry. After listening to that song for so long building this site, it cant stand it anymore =P lol.
In regards to the font, my girlfriend cant stand it either, so I'll change it for v2.0 also.
Keep the suggestions coming, really appreciate it =)

yeah...you are very creative I can sense that...I want to see more graphics and less text, I realize from your post that you say a lot...I didnt even read, but yeah try adding a small graphics here and there, and once you have an image on the page then its easyer to lay out the text without looking boring, I like the water effect and the sound fits well together...splash well I'm sure you could do a better job on that. I would put that logo from a splash on the home page as well, also once the site opens you have nothing set as your home page...maybe welcome with a nice graphic would feel that empty space....its a good start honestly!!!
peace man

The music doesn't loop right, you should find something that does. You should also have an option to turn the music off.
The font kinda does stink. I'd get a new font for sure.
I wanna see more graphics, more pictures probably for the background of the pages, and perhaps a menu with more bam! to it, ya know?
Also, the button for your fax number is hard to click on. I think your forgot to put a rectangle for your HIT frame in the button.

yeah, i too loathe that font.
the raindrop effect seems kinda cheesey. i dunno. same for the font on the graphic design page.
is the preloader a real preloader or something you put up there for no reason? cuz everytime a go to a page the preloader pops up and takes precisely the same time to load. or does it load really fast and im just seeing the loader transition out? u may not even need one since each page has mostly text anyway.
ditto what they said about the music
its a decent start though

Thanks for all the replies!
I appreciate all the critisism, and will take them into great consideration as I build 2.0. This site was kind of a ... slap it together as I learn stuff kind of thing, so obviously its in need of a good overhaul =). Version 2.0 will have a drawn out layout on paper, have a storyboard and effect list I want to accomplish, so it should be a much more organized attempt. As for the font, music, and raindrops, and text, those will all be changing in 2.0.
Thanks again!
