3d-iva - glad you like it! The "things" are 3ds max 4. I rendered the model from various different angles in various different colors. From there it is all photoshop. Layer styles, blurs, etc. The 2D work was my first attempt at that sort of thing. Its just fills.

what did the things look like before your PS'd them? Trying to figure out how and what you did but it is just too **** good.....You should write a tut....or drop me an email with a more involved explanation...heehee.....gj tho man

what was that? a chamfer box or primitive with a truck load of bend and distortion modifiers?? From that to that is good......I really tend to not be into pics like that but yours is good very good....gj

I think so? Hey gabe you should back that statement up with why and how you would make it better. We are about helping others and that statement just does not help. There is nothing wrong with not liking someones art but help by lending a suggestion when you dont........cool man

I think the colors clash way too much.
I think the 3d could be worked better, because as it is now, one might think it was done in PS.
Also the text is too jagged.

I think the concepts are there, just not used correctly.

I wouldn't have said anything, except that 3d-iva acted like this was a masterpiece ;)

Actually I do like a bunch....thats the good thing about art someone will like it and some wont....But you should be constructive with your criticism that is what this forum is about. and that last image you posted is awesome also......

Thats a good way of putting it. Its a torus knot with a "truckload" of stuff. Glad you like it!

Interesting ideas.... I would like you to try to do some similar 3d work in PS and show me, I'm afraid I don't quite believe you on that call. On the same note, I don't really see how it matters if it looks like it is out of a 3d app or not, as long as it works.

I'm not sure I understand the jagged text thing...

And as I said this is my first time ever trying this trendwhore-ish 2d stuff.

But I do thank you for the criticism.
