Challenge - How to make blanco navigation

Hey Guys,

I know I'm new but I really hope one of you can help me out. Please go and have a look at http://www.blancoint.com/. I really like the navigation on the catalog screen. I would like to use something like this for a portfolio cd-rom I'm designing. Can this be done in flash 5? I'm not very advanced yet so you help will be extremly appriciated.

yeah, it's do-able.
basically, it's just a bunch of MC's and you set each one for on(rollover) start drag and attatch the clip to display with a masking effect. Why do what's been done? This is almost too trendy but it's a cool idea. I find it annoying.

I agree that it might not be the most user friendly nav but I really dig the concept. However, I’m not sure whether it is as simple as just attaching some movies. I couldn’t figure it out like this anyways.
I’m just looking for a super cool portfolio option without resorting to the traditional methods like sliders, galleries, etc …
Your suggestions would be more than welcomed.
