why can one skip levels?

its really fun, but it seems a tad dubious that my pc can run quake 3 at over 100fps, but I get slow down in certain sections of you game - it's most off-putting when you're playing and it's going really slowly, then it suddenly speeds up and you completely miss a jump and have to start again :sure:

Asphalt, im not sure about the problem, you may of been playing whilist another program was taking up lots CPU or something. Sometimes jerks when ive got dreamweaver open and stuff. Sorry!!!

ps. you can skip levels because you dont have to play the game neccesarily as a level by level game, you can play it as a kind of trying out the different levels and messing about having fun on them. Also if you mess up and you fail on say level 9 then you can just go to it no messing about on level 1.
