Ringo Starr's site! - take a look!

I have just seen Ringo Starr's official tour site and I feel a little confused as to why it looks so unprofessional.

The actuall interface looks poor, It doesn't use seperate SWFs and you have to wait for the whole thing to download.

Now then, I am not saying I could do any better, I couldn't, but with Ringo's money, why hasn't he got someone like mudbubble.com to do it for him? (I think it would suit a sort of cartoony look) or 2advanced?

In fact, i would like to start a little vote. I think Ringo has done this himself between gigs :)

You could be right about him making it. I agree that the site is quite poor for someone of his stature. Maybe since his band days hes starting to watch his pennies after all hes getting on.

your site was put up by Kraft foods, the sponsor. So it was prob done by someone's kid while trying to save money... not a marketing person I'd bet...

even the ringo site is kinda cheezy.....but I agree why pay a person like me when you have a 12 year old nephew that just got a dell and a bootleg copy of flash.

I sold my old domain (www.2muchfun.com) a few years back (for a huge profit, I might add), to Kraft. they don't put a lot of emphasis on... well, making it look cool...

my old site looked better than theirs does now...
