I have never really built a website before. I have just tinkered a little here and there in the past. I have little to no experience in html, css, flash and definitely no javascript.

I am working on a website for a gaming clan called Clan Rated X. They asked me to build them a flash website and I am stumped on a few things. I started with an older template Ive had for while. I have just about finished up on the framework for it. I am stumped on how to integrate a forums, gallery and a couple of other outside links. I decided to use greybox to open the gallery and forums. I really dont know if this is the way to do this. I have worked with flash for about 2 weeks now and find it rather confusing at times. I have just about lost everythig related to the original template. I would appreciate it if anyone would take a look an tell me what you think about the method I have used.

I still need to arrange the pages and replace the generic text with proper content.

The biggest problem I am having is knowing where to stop at. I keep adding and adding and adding and am still not happy with it. I guess my lack of knowledge with flash is the key factor in this.

There are things I want to do but just cant figure out how to get it to happen. On the main page load I dont want the menus to show until the ENTER SITE button is clicked I would like to make this space a movie spot only for this page. In addition there is a small smoke trail coming from the characters mini-gun on the left. I intended for this to be smoke coming out of the barrel for the girls pistol on the right bleeding slightly onto the logo above it.

As far as the forums and gallery I really wanted to use a litebox clone called bumpbox instead of greybox. the effect is so much better looking. Unless there is a better way in flash to incorporate these items.

I would appreciate some input as to the over all look so far.

Darn, I was hoping someone had a tiny bit of input as to the overall look. Possibly some think the clan name Rated X is **** related. I assure it is not. It a group of gamers that are called Rated X....

Ok, it's not bad! very nice music. And the overall feel is cool, but you really need some sort of back link solution, SwfAddress. When visiting the gallery, the "Wall of Fail" section, the back button works at first (somewhat) but not to go back to the site itself. And all the while nothing in the address bar changes. The site seems to have a lot of content, so you definetly need something. You can also look into the onhashchange event. IE8 , FF3.6 and Google Chrome 4+ support that javascript event.

Not anything I can think of right off the bat, but the music brings back memories.
