once upon a time i'm having lunch break at school. I see a friend of mine at a computer (in the library) with some other insignificant guy. i sit down next to my friend and do some programing. one thing leads to another and i end up showing my friend some of my experiments that i had on the internet. remember that insignificant guy? he suddenly speaks up, "hey, have you heard of kirupa forums?" i say yes, and then, this is crutial, then he say "I am Coppertop."

'tis a true story. i know it seems unbelievable but yes, zylum and Coppertop are fellow peers and and fellow kirupians.

I've not met anyone from kirupa forum (Rev doesn't count) but I have met over a dozen people from a glass collector/dealer forum that I participate in. Several of them have become treasured friends. It really is small world these days.

So it looks like not very many have met someone on kirupa forum, so I guess I must be - well lucky I guess.

Now, there are over 1800 people in my school, and there are quite a few people on KF who say they live near Toronto and go to school, so its time to start searching!

on another note, maybe we should announce the name of our school in a new thread in random. maybe someone else will reply. There might be a good chance that someone else from here goes to our school since it has the enhanced program bringing in kids from all over the GTA. BTW, are you in the enhanced program coppertop?

my school is a peice of c**p and im about the only person in the whole school who can relate to flash. other people are like.... "yea i have flash" and then u find out they just have the flash player and they think they can use that to make flash animations using the flash player. The only person i know from kirupaforum in my school is "yello snowcone" (in funny lettering - Only made 6 posts) and he is like my best friend, so it doesnt really count. I would like to meet some other people from the forums, but most live in either america (or somewhere near there) or in england or something. im about the only Aussie on these forums. (notice how there are virtually no new zealanders on these forums)
