It's nice, but it looks like yet another MetaLab (http://www.metalabdesign.com/) website. Uuh

pretty nice, but after a while it's a little to much, there's an overabundance of big fat buttons and font with drop shadows

I like to refer to this as the MetaLab Effect.

Never quite understood that. I hate the metalab design, why do so many people want to rip it off? It's fugly.

Yea, the boxie design is not that appealing and the weird use of the scroll bar is kind of gimmicky.
Nice idea and concept though.

They use the scroll bar fine. Whats weird is them showing you a list of names of a bunch of people you don't know. The last thing you care about is there name. Project ideas or sample designs of these people should be waay more prominent then there names.

ajcates. Click the ideas link on the top to see a list of the ideas instead of the people.

lol.. nice. :P
But yea, I agree that the long list of names as the first thing you see with no context is a bit weird. Though, it took me mere seconds to get into the swing of things, and I would guess that the conversion with this UI is much more appealing than one that would present an information gate to get you warmed up to what you're going to see. I think it works well in that it encourages you to do some clicking around before making up your mind.

Ok the site is great but looks empty and under construction. Why not add some colors to it.
