Kit - if you have a gamecube, you are going to be in for a great time. Silicon Knights is re-doing metal gear solid (the one for the ps1) for the GameCube and is taking all the aspects of the second one on PS2 and putting them into the first one for the GC. This means that now, in the first version, you will be able to pick people up and stuff them in the lockers, different moves like hanging for places and moving around - it's going to be like a whole different game!

I know I'm a geek but I think this game looks great!

Sad to say I'm not in possession of a GameCube... I've got a PS2, two PS1's, an XBox, a SNES, two Amiga's and 3 PC's, but no GameCube and no Dreamcast. :sure:

I admit to wanting both the Dreamcast and the GameCube, but it's all about the money. :) First I need to buy a desk and chair so I can use my main PC in comfort. :P (Anyone that hasn't seen my webcam will fail to appreciate the true horror of my current setup...)

Sons of Librity was really good on PS2 although it was much to short. MGS for PS1 is really good. I haven't played MGS:Substance yet. The oringinal metal gear on NES is still awsome. I must have cleared that fame hundreds of times. Still the best item ever is the cardboard box.

Sadly, I've never played any of the MG series but being that it's one of the great title in PS. I'm definitely getting the upcoming one... MGS: Snake Eater, looking forward to it.

On a side note what online PS2 games do you guys at Kirupa play?

I like the first playstation version the best. I think Sons of Liberty had a GREAT story to it, but I also thought it should have been longer. I also wanted to be Snake more than I was :( Raiden just didn't do anything for me...

I'm impressed with the first screen shots I've seen of the next Metal Gear - Snake Eater. There's NO radar at all, and you have to hunt for food instead of finding rations just floating in a corner somewhere. Also, the enemy can't call for backup, making it a lot more fun to kick their *** instead of having to be stealty all the time.

Do a google search or just check out IGN or something for info on it - its looking like a great game!

P.S. Kit once again proves why she's the coolest babe around!

I dont' know I realy like the stelth aspect of MGS. It is refreshig to see a game where you are supposed to confrentation. I'm still trying to get threw first alert mode on MGS:SOL. The hunting for food part will kickass.

I agree about the lack of snake play in MGS:SOL. Snake is the best and radian was jut kind of gay.
