hi guys.
how do create a random looking grid with more than just one square 'running'? in the script at hand, the square starts at one edge of the stage and works its way through to the opposite edge. it would be great if anybody knows how to make it look more randomly.
thanks in advance.

Have an example of what you mean?

Well, I have a randomized version, but for some reason Flash gives errors randomly. There's nothing wrong with the code, it should work fine and it does, but at random times Flash stops it and gives an error. I suppose this is somekinda bug in Flash MX. Therefore, I didn't add it to the tutorial. I can send you the random FLA if you want it.

@ APDesign
unfortunately, I don't have an example. I barely started with a site in flash. I thought it could kinda look cool to have pictures appear in a 'matrix-style'. I hope, that makes it more clear?
@ Voetsjoeba
it would be great if you could send me the fla. maybe i can try some things and it is already enough for my purposes.
thanks for your replies!!!

"more randomly" for just randomly, cause then you can just call the fadeIn function (orwhatever it is) using the math.random function for the argument.
