Creative Inspire 5200 or 5300 ??

Hey all, looking to buy some speakers to go with a new sound card (Audigy 2). Not wanting to spend too much on speakers due to budget, but i would still like some nice speakers to emphasis the 5.1 surround. (i know audigy 2 can do 6.1 and the newer one 7.1 but my budget is at 5.1)

So been looking at the Creative Inspire 5.1 sets and found that there are three i'm intrested in the 5200 the 5300 and the T5400.

On the creative site, they have the 5200 located above the 5300 :h:

why? which one is newer ??

I would love to get the t5400 but i dont think they ship here to australia (also is that a older range or newer, because the two way speakers in the T5400 has me confused)

So whats your thoughts, can anyone help me out?

If you can get the T5400 I would go for that one. Two way speakers, separate out the highs and mids, and play them on the proper speaker within the speaker. (Wow I know thats bad but I can not think of another way to explain it.) I have a older model similer to the 5300, and I get good sound out of mine. First you shoud find out if the ship to the land down under. =)

Thanks Niann, was reading up today and found some info on the T5400 , basically they are a new model based on the new Inspire 7.1 which started the two way speaker trend (tweeter and mid-range speakers). They have brought out two other version of the two way speakers series, one for 5.1 (T5400) and one for 4.1 (??? forgot) So i'm going to wait till they are available in Australia, they are fairly new so it wont be too soon, they are worth the wait though.

:: still wondering why the 5300 is position under the 5200 in the link i gave above? (dosent it rank from lowest to best?) and wouldnt the 5300 be better than the 5200? is the 5200 newer that the 5300?

sup yall.... thought id bring up a old thread..

these bloody t5400 are still not out in australia yet, and seriously no one has been able to give me at least a price of what they will be. Then along came Logitech z-5300... These speakers look awesome, someone pointed me in this direction after they tested them out themselves, i havent had a chance to listen to them but heard some good things about them...he told me he rathered these over the creative inspire range he use to have.

any one else got some info / opinions ??
