Hey man - AT&T isn't much better! They changed my plan on me before without telling me beforehand. They also took away my "promotional" free text-messages without me knowing it, and that slammed me with a couple more dollars to pay.

They even billed a phone call to me once when I didn't even have my phone on!!! I left it off at home because I went to play hockey that afternoon. I dunno, but all these wireless peoples seem to be a bit shady to me!

As far as I can tell: no one. Hell, some people do have other things to do: be it work or other important engagements. Unless they explicitly say "yes, spam is the reason I left", I'm quite happy thinking that it's just a few people being over-dramatic. :)

quite a few "regulars" don't go into random any more. They are still around, but they don't come close to random, due to the amount of thread hijacking that was going on. They couldn't deal with the subject changing after 2 posts. That is also why ordered was created.

Once upon a time, random was a place where topics weren't purposely changed, just because someone thinks it is hilarious to do so. I place no blame here, I am just stating what has happened.

It has become less so as of late, but I don't think those certain people will be back in random any time soon. Especially with the large amount of adolescent testosterone flowing about...

I'm not going to place blame, it would be counterproductive. Just because they haven't written you personally and said in so many words, does not mean it has not happened.

Certain people have publically admitted to trying to hijack threads. Others have publically admitted as to why they don't go into random anymore.

If people would consider how their post is going to affect others before hitting the submit button, rather than trying to beat others to the punch line, it would make random more fun. I doubt this will happen, but it would be nice.
