photo into caricature

hi guys, is there anybody knows how to convert or make a photo into a caricature or a cartoon. is there any software for this?

well , if you want to "cheat" or lets say cut some corners, you could use some filters in photoshop, say you want to emphasis on the characters eyes , use liquify and bloat the characters eyes, pinch them on the edges, play around in there, then use a stylise filter to achieve that illustrated look. That would be the easiest way to get where you want. Other than that like Kit said, Pen and pencil !! .

:: other caricature effects you can achieve with liquify could be stretching the characters neck.

:: Even though you can get some nice effects in photoshop and other, it would be best to sit down and draw it.
