I recently downloaded easyPHP and set it up to run PHP scripts on my comp. But I want to make it a web server (just for friends, cause I only have dialup, lol). I now easyPHP runs with Apache and i've tried to make it allow outside access, by setting the serverName to my ip address and such, but people still get Connection Refused and Page Can't be Displayed errors when they goto it. I don't have a DNS address or anything, just want to be able to access it through my ip (eg. http://01.23.45.678). Any help, I can't find it anywhere else and I know a few people on here use easyPHP. Thanks :)

I am not sure about easyPHP, but if you are running Apache, why not run real PHP? Perhaps I am missing something.

One other thing to consider is if you have a router or firewall software installed, you will need to configure it to forward port 80 to you local machines ip address.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. And I don't have a firewall or anything like that. It's just that Apache and PHP and mySQL are a bit hard to get working, so I wanted to avoid using them. I'm not sure what the french page says just, but Google translater may help me out in a moment :p
