How bad was it?

Personaly, I think it was a holocaust!

If it wasnt for Jonny Depp it would have been a holocoaust during a plague infestation...

In the story, everyone has to avenge someone... his wife, his freind, his dog, his chili dog.. whatever.. just as long as it avenges someone.. and apperantly no one in mexico can hit a broad side of a barn with a fully automatic weapon.

You absolutley need a scene where guys on color-coded bikes attack you out of no where, without the slightest explenation what they will do with they bikes? (Leave tire marks, I dunno?)

Also, the story tries to play the three main guys, Banderas and his partners as Mexicos heroes, so let me get this straight...
Mexicos heroes are a Murdering Drunk, a Murdering Psycho, and a Murdering Man-Whore?

And of course the movie wont be complete without someone yelling in a high-pitched voice: vival la revolution even thought they were not revolting, quite the opposite actualy.

Anyway , I can go on for ever, but I like to know what you people think....

(Btw, I like the scene where Johny Depp shoots the cook :beam:)

Actually I haven't seen it yet but from the synopsis and the trailer presented I think that it's as good as the previous El Mariachi films (part1 El Mariachi, part2 Desperado and now part3 Once Upon a Time in Mexico). The directing style of Robert Rodriguez is in a way unique and the story is befitting his style. If you follow only the conversations of the story and not also focus on the actors' actions you'd have a hard time understanding the film. And in the end you'd only think of the movie as a disturbing feast! [IMO]

Didn't see it yet... we don't even have "Finding Nemo" over here yet, so be patient! ;)

Anyway, the trailer looks cool, which doesn't mean anything, but the song of the trailer is super! For the intrested people: it's from Juno Reactor - Pistolero.

I only wanted to see it because I think concealing weapons in your guitar is the coolest thing :thumb:

anyway, i haven't yet and probably will not with my hectic schedule, so i'll probably just wait until it comes out on DVD.

I saw this movie last month, and I actually liked it. It was really good! The action sequences were a tad bit gruesome but interesting, and Antonio Banderas/Depp's acting weren't too bad either. The best line from that movie has to be "Are you a Mexican or Mexican't." :ub:

I expected more from her in the movie; the previews made it seem like she had a major role in the movie :-/
