Hello,
I have my website on-line a web hosting site, right now. I would like to change to another one.
I need some help. Can someone or a few of you, list web hosting websites, that support
Flash files, (.swf). That you and your visitors are happy viewing, for example, where you are hosting
your websites.
Here’s the link to my site: http://www.geocities.com/nenaj_76/
Hope you can see it.
Feel free to give your comments on it, they’ll be much appreciated.
Thank you for listening.

well i got issues with your site.
splash page
1. your splash page background images tiles on high resolution
2. the link to your flash is http://C:/mydocuments2/myflashportfolio/1stpg3.swf - make it say enter flash portfolio
3. add a title to your splash page
flash page
4. swf's shuld be embedded into an html page, your main image is distorted
5. why does your flash links open new swf's?
6. use the loadMovie()
please take the criticism(spelling!) in a positive manner. i'm only trying to help
as far as web hosting, it depends i mean you don't need a lot of options(server side, database)
i am not going to send any links becuase i dont have any experience with otehr web hosting hten my own, but you should be looking for a real cheap one, as you dont need many of the options that hosting companies offer.
hope this helps

:)
Thanks a lot for the input.
It's much appreciated!
Thanks for critiking my site. Hopefully after I get through the mistakes, It'll be better to view.
I have one question, about your last 2 comments:
You said why does my flash links open new .swfs;-
and- second, to use loadMovie().
Why can't I leave my swf files as links to other
.swf files?
I ask this b/c my files do work, when I click on my links now.
I embedded the swfs into the html files on the ftp server, as you said, and my links are working correctly.
Just curious.
I will do the other corrections and updated my site after, hopefully on a new web host account.
Thanks again

hey no problem
let me try an answer your questions
your swf are not published. to publish them go to file >> publish. this will create an html file for you.
loadMovie-
maybe i wasn't clea or just assumed you knew what i was talking about. the way your movie is set up when a user click a link your swf are opening as if you were calling an html page
your code probably looks soemthing like ths
on(release){
getURL("movie.swf" , "_self");
}
try
on(release){
loadMovie("movie.swf" , 1); // loads movie to the 1st level
}
this will cause movie.swf to load ovcer your orignal movie
to unload it
unloadMovieNum(1);
I ask this b/c my files do work, when I click on my links now.
I embedded the swfs into the html files on the ftp server, as you said, and my links are working correctly.
Just curious.
i think you meant to say that the links "don't" work obne of the ways, if you clearify i'll be able to help you out with that
why don't you take a good look at kirupa's creating a full site in flash tutorial, it will seriously help you out.

happy flashing!

A web host that is very affordable is ChristLab. This guy has just started his own web hosting company and has one of the best customer service attitudes I've ever seen. His site can be found at http://www.christlab.net . I would definately try this guy out. He uses CPanel and many other services for really good prices.
BTW. My name is Matt (jhlflash). This is my first post.
Another company is DHRX. He has very affordable prices also. His site can be found at http://www.dhrx.co.uk
Thanks, jhlflash

I've had great luck with www.readyhosting.com
500MB for $99.00/Year and a 1-800 tech support number.
Many other perks.
6 accounts there now.
