Okay I have a client that has a special need. I know we have all seen the panorama things where you can get a 360 view of like a room. Well my client wants the reverse of that where you can spin around an object. I think this is called rotography. But I cannot find any software out there for it. The client is buying. If all else fails I will have to use 3ds max and director to create this rotation. BUt I know there has to be something out there for this.
Shoot me a link or a name of a software please...if ya know

well, the panorama composers will do what you want, but you need to get images encircling that object first...
so, if you take a lazy susan, and somehow make the center portion static, then your camera can move around the object de art, and you can use Panoramic Composer (my pers fave) to make it a 360 view...

if you have a video camera, that will work better... then use adobe premier to break it up should you need to...

wowzers that is too much.....I have never used premiere.....I am hoping for a software that has a magic do everything button.....well at least stitch it. I think I will go the director route. If I cannot find a software. Have you done a rotography b4 rev.....If so may I see it?

I have nothing I can show...
I'm house sitting on the side of Mt. Tam right now, so I have canibalized one of the computers in the house to work with their broadband (I couldn't deal with the dial up)...
premier is easy. just push a few buttons, it's over...
hey, it's made by Adobe, it has to be simple, right?
but yeah, I've messed with it somewhat.
if you make all the walls white, then using a string to measure to the object, take sequential photos, a pano composer stitcher should work...
