why can i not open old .fla files with MX2004.

it just says "unexpected file format" :scream:

You can open them... There is no way it will do that. Yes, it is true u cant open MX2004 .fla using FMX. There might be something wrong with the file. I am able to open all till now.

ummmm, i have MX files but can not open with MX04

i will just install MX again

but my new Dreamweaver and Fireworks is great.

MX files open in MX04 fine for me. I do get a prompt telling me to save as... everytime I save if I want to keep it a MX file though :-\
